2.       Chromecast dongle:  This HDMI dongle must be connected to HDMI port of your TV. This will get a power via USB cable. You have two options to provide power to your dongle. 5.       HDMI extender: Sometimes there is not sufficient space at the back of your TV to connect the device directly so there is a HDMI extender cable that connects to the TV and dongle. It is recommended to connect the extender to TV first then to the Chromecast.
